ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Kaitlin Hasher. Growing up, I experienced firsthand how diet profoundly impacts overall well-being. Coming from a lower-income background, I often lived on the bare minimum. As I started working, I developed an eating disorder while trying to “save money.” To heal, I educated myself about nutrition and learned to maintain a balanced diet on an extremely tight budget. This journey transformed my relationship with food and made me want to pursue a career in dietetics.

I am working toward my Associate of Science in Nutrition at Rowan College of South Jersey. I have gained experience by not only coursework but also volunteering and active participation in campus clubs. These opportunities have shown me that I am on the correct path and that this is what I want to do.
My goal is to become a registered dietitian specializing in public health. I aspire to empower communities with evidence-based nutrition education and help people of all backgrounds achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Outside of academics, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with my fiancé and friends, and staying active at the gym. I also love my job as a server, and it allows me to connect with people, have fun conversations, and stay physically and mentally active.
